Description

• 18 carat white gold (yellowish white, not yet rhodium-plated);
• brilliant cut diamonds (E, VVSI, EX/EX) 0.03 carats;
• 10 mm, round Tahitian (saltwater) pearl, AAA quality (guaranteed untreated, natural, ornamental peacock).

These stunning hook earrings are crafted from exceptionally hard, traditional 18k white gold. This material has a slight yellowish tinge, so we have plated it with a platinum metal called rhodium to enhance its whiteness. The plated finish on these earrings is quite durable and will not wear off with normal wear.
The earrings feature an organic ocean gemstone, the justly famous Tahitian pearl, known for its larger than average size, incredible range of colors, and outstanding properties.
Delicate, premium quality, brilliant cut diamond details add sparkle and shine to this feminine pair. The earring hook is made of white gold alloy for better comfort and greater resistance to damage or deformation.
The simple hook solution makes it easy to attach.

Inspiration

As personal guests of Prince Eszterházy, we were delighted to attend a special concert at the Eszterházy Castle in Fertőd. We sat in the royal box, the conductor was within arm's reach. We could hear the musicians breathing and the rustling of their clothes as they played. We were completely enchanted by the magic of the evening. The music had such a profound effect on us that when we returned home, we designed an entire jewelry collection, including these earrings.
Later, we entered pieces from the collection into the International Tahitian Pearl Trophy Jewelry Competition and won first place in two categories.
