This stylish and modern brooch is made of exceptionally hard, traditional 18-karat white gold. This material has a slight yellowish tinge, so we have plated it with a platinum metal called rhodium to enhance its whiteness. The zinc-plated finish of the brooch is quite durable and will not tarnish with normal wear and tear. Certain parts of the brooch are made of an 18-karat yellow gold alloy. This brooch depicts an organic gem of the ocean, the justly famous Tahitian pearl, known for its larger than average size, incredible range of colors and outstanding properties.
