The Katana collection (ring, pendant, cufflinks and tie pin) is made from a special material, Damascus steel. It is an exceptionally durable yet bendable metal, created by welding together several different types of iron strips and then folding them several times. Harder metals are less sensitive to acid, so they remain dark, while softer metals become lighter. This results in a unique pattern, which we have complemented with 14 karat red gold.

Inspiration

Before and during sword-making, the bladesmith purified himself through purification rituals that included fasting, bathing only in the open air in clean water, and sexual abstinence.
