First Violin brooch

Description

• 18 karat yellow gold;
• 9 mm, round Tahitian (saltwater) pearl, AAA quality (guaranteed untreated, natural, fancy peacock);
• brilliant cut diamonds (BE, VVS, EX/EX) 0.182 carats.

This delicate brooch is crafted from traditional 18k yellow gold. The surface of the brooch is adorned with tiny, premium-quality, brilliant-cut diamonds that stunningly highlight the graceful curves of the violin. The piece features an organic ocean pearl, the justly famous Tahitian pearl, known not only for its larger-than-average size, but also for its incredible range of colors and outstanding properties.

Inspiration

As personal guests of Prince Eszterházy, we had the pleasure of attending a special concert at the Eszterházy Castle in Fertőd. We sat in the royal box, the conductor was within arm’s reach. We could hear the musicians breathing and the rustling of their clothes as they played. We were completely enchanted by the magic of the evening. The music had such a profound effect on us that when we returned home, we designed an entire jewelry collection, including this brooch. Later, we entered the pieces from the collection into the International Tahiti Pearl Trophy Jewelry Competition, and won first place in two categories.
