Luxury Eve at Museum of Fine ArtsThe Hungarian Museum of Fine Arts organised a Luxury themed event, where we were asked to represent the art of jewellery. We were honoured to be asked to showcase our creations and talk about luxury and the art of design and crafting to an enthusiastic audience at such a breathtakingly beautiful venue. We prepared a colourful and interesting programme for the audience. The motto of the event was “The Discreet Charm of Luxury”. The speakers were made up of experts and creators who, in various ways, represent or work in the world of luxury in contemporary Hungary. Our friend Zsolt Zolyom, the perfumer, known as the Nose of Hungary also took part in the event, and devised a clever and fragrant game for the guests. We prepared a similarly entertaining surprise. We started off with a diamond hunt, whereby a legion of over 500 visitors queued up to attempt to find hidden precious stones which they could subsequently take home. Visitors were also given the opportunity to look at an exquisite emerald under a special gemstone microscope. Watchful observers were able to catch a glimpse of the hidden micro-cosmos inside the emerald. During the evening we held two talks on stage and played the new film about our most recent award winning creation that won the Objet D' Art Award at the jewellery design competition held during Dubai International Jewellery Week. The beautiful hairpin crafted from a unique gold alloy, combined with ebony and decorated with brilliant cut diamonds and an aquamarine stone, was inspired by ballet movements. The film can be viewed HERE.
As the venue was quite large we were able to engage a great number of visitors. The whole Splendor team was present at the event to inform and entertain the audience. Our lovely models showed off our creations, and we even introduced a brand new jewellery collection that took a year and a half to create, and was completed on the day of the exhibition. We feel our guests enjoyed themselves and we were thrilled by the recognition of our work and the positive response from the audience. The night at the Museum of Fine Arts was a very special adventure. |
