Custom jewellery for a truly special occasion

The birth of a child is a truly precious and unforgettable moment in one's life. Through them we become parents and for them we become better people. They add value and meaning to our time, our  experiences  and  the  world.  We  love  creating  childbirth inspired jewellery. With their hidden message they often become richly designed objects, abundant with sentiments and veiled meaning, which we know will become highly valued and cherished pieces.

Diamond jewellery &  Dancing Diamonds ballet

There  has  never  been  such a meeting  of  two  seemingly different forms of art, as the cooperation between Splendor and the  Contemporary  Ballet of Szeged  which  premiered in 2013. Following  its  unexpected  success  the  production and the designers are planning an international tour. The dancers perform the birth of a diamond which is created by the four elements. The different elements emerge through ballet movements and provided the inspiration both the choreography and the jewellery designs.

Splendor jewellery - new victory in Dubai!

Orsolya succeeded in repeating her last victory in Dubai.
She has once again won first prize in the international
competition.
The hairpin, for which she was awarded
the  trophy,  was  born  out  of  the  ballet designs.
It  captures  a  dynamic  dance  movement.  The
ebony  base is encased in a platinum  and  white
gold alloy and embellished with unusual, unique-cut
aquamarines as well as myriads  of  tiny  diamonds.

Tailored Works of Art

Apart from Orsolya and Daniel's signature three dimensional
sculpture-
like designs, they specialize in creating remarkably
personalized pieces.
"We offer an exclusive service through
which we get to know the wearer of our pieces, their
appearance, personality,
style, history, relationships
and
important symbols through which we are able
design
and  craft  not  only  astonishingly  beautiful
pieces,
but also truly tailor-made, personalized objects.

Wedding Bands

We have been creating wide range of wedding jewelry.
We enjoy planning and designing together with couples,
which  can  take  between 1-2  hours. We  believe it is
important  that  our  clients are fully  informed  about
their  options so they  can  make  educated  decisions
when it comes to their own personal symbols of their love.
We are there to hold their hands on this journey. The bliss
that the finished creations bring, is our greatest award of all.

Engagement Rings

“ We love our job as we are greatly inspired by
the joy our creations bring. It is wonderful to play
a role in someone else's
happiness, that the fruit
of our labour will become a cherished treasure for
its owner. Lasting personal symbols of personalities,
relationships, joy and love.”

Award Winning Creations (Crème de la Crème)

We passionately seek out new challenges and unusual challenges through which we can release our creative energy, express our artistic point of view and make our long-cherished dreams come alive. We are participants and often winners of competitions that involve the crème de la crème of the international jewellery craft and design community.

The proof of the high quality of our work are the 55 international awards we have won, which is a remarkable accomplishment by any standards.

Thematic competitions have changed our everyday working lives. Through the International Tahitian Pearl Trophy we have gained a deeper understanding of pearls and thusduse them readily in our non-competing pieces as well. Similarly we have become close to opals, diamonds and have come up with such novel combinations of form, material and function such as the seashell shaped mobile phone, sting ray-skin - jewellery sandals or a man sized magic staff adorned with diamonds.

In the list below you can learn more about our 55 award-winning creations.

"Dancer" the ballet hairpin

We were able to repeat our grand victory! We won first prize in Dubai once again and thus, Splendor-Jewellery can boast of having 55 trophies. Orsolya's design- inspired by a dynamic dance movement- was awarded first place at the prestigious international competition.

The hairpin was crafted from a platinum and white gold alloy and built onto an ebony base. Rows of brilliant diamonds follow the graceful arches that were inspired by the movement of a ballet dancer, while a unique-cut aquamarine symbolizes her head. This hairpin is merely one piece of a complete collection which was created for the Dancing Diamonds production.

The pieces of the set were inspired by the force and curves of nature, especially by water which is placed in the center of each piece as a true treasure which is of utmost importance in our country as well as the Arab deserts.

The rich dimensionality of the pieces which is characteristic of Splendor-Jewellery's aesthetic follows the curve shapes found in nature with modern clarity.

The phone functions fully, it has a rechargeable battery, a SIM card and careful attention was payed to adhering to the set radiation limits, signals and the insulation of the electronic parts. While the reconstruction of the mobile phone inside the gold shell far exceeds the boundaries of metalwork and thus was incredibly challenging, the IR port, vibrating alert, volume control and every other feature that characterized the original phone functions as it was intended to.

Three of us from Splendor-Jewellery spent no less than four months on the construction of the phone. We worked day and night as well as on weekends, but in the end a we managed to complete the piece just in time for the Tahitian Pearl Trophy, also known within the profession as “Jewellery-Makers Olympics” were we have won with numerous pieces since. We knew that this unique piece had the makings of a masterpiece creation... but only the first phone we had ever made.

1. award

In 2000, the Poseidon's Treasure brooch and pendant set won Splendor-Jewellery its first ever award. With it we were awarded the 1st prize in Design category at the national finals of the Tahitian Pearl Trophy.
Crafted from 14k white and yellow gold with high quality semi-baroque Tahitian pearls.

The piece is representative of our three dimensional design vision. Our pieces cannot be described with two dimensional sketches. Much like sculptures, our pieces show a different face from every angle. Since its creation, Poseidon's Treasure has become an iconic symbol of our design aesthetic and work.
